Is Guilty uses the job simulator format to deliver psychological horror through bureaucratic pressure, which is a smarter approach than it first sounds. Serving coffee while identifying a criminal in the customer queue creates sustained low-level dread that most horror games achieve through monsters instead. KeeraGames built something with an original mechanical hook here. Highly recommended.
Synopsis
Is Guilty puts you behind the counter of an isolated drive-thru coffee stand on the night shift. An unexpected email turns routine order-taking into something more sinister: you've been given a target among the cars in line and the means to identify them. First-person, atmospheric, and built around the horror of ordinary tasks carrying hidden stakes.
