Why it’s HorroRated

Freddy vs. Jason delivers on its premise by actually committing to both characters and not flattering either one too much. Ronny Yu manages the tonal balance between the two franchises and the climax is exactly what the setup promised. It took a decade to happen but the film that came out of it is more fun than it had any right to be.

Synopsis

Ronny Yu manages the tonal balance between the franchises and the climax delivers on the central promise. It took a decade to happen and the result is more fun than it had any right to be.
