Return to Sleepaway Camp is entirely for fans of the original, which is the honest thing to say about it. It reunites enough of the original cast to generate some goodwill and the camp setting is competently used. Not a film that extends the mythology in meaningful ways but a closing chapter for those who want one.
Synopsis
Return to Sleepaway Camp brings back cast members from the original and the summer camp setting for a follow-up that was shot before the mid-series entries. Primarily for fans who stayed with the franchise through the sequels and want closure on Angela's story from the first film's perspective.
