Why it’s HorroRated
Smile 2 is a more visually ambitious sequel that expands the mythology while keeping the curse mechanics clean. The pop star setting gives the paranoia a public dimension the first film didn't have and the bodycount escalates with appropriate confidence. A sequel that genuinely earned the follow-up.
Synopsis
Parker Finn expands the Smile mythology while introducing a new character investigating the chain of deaths. The sequel goes further with the body horror elements and is more confident in its visual language. A better follow-up than the first film's premise suggested was possible.
