Halloween II follows Laurie into a nearly empty hospital and proves that Michael Myers works in almost any closed environment. It's not as tight as the original but it maintains the atmosphere and the tension remarkably well. The mythology addition is controversial but it gives the franchise something to build on.

Synopsis

Picking up immediately where Halloween ends, the sequel moves the action to a hospital that should feel safe and makes it another long corridor of pursuit.
