Deader is a Hellraiser entry that was originally an unrelated script retrofitted with Pinhead and it shows in some places but not all of them. The cult-that-can-reverse-death premise is interesting and Kari Wuhrer is a capable lead. The Hellraiser elements feel grafted on at times but there's enough here for franchise fans.

Synopsis

Amy Klein follows a lead into a Bucharest underground community whose leader claims the ability to bring people back from death. The Hellraiser mythology frames what is essentially a standalone supernatural thriller and Kari Wuhrer grounds the investigation with enough credibility that the franchise elements don't feel imposed. For fans of the series who want to complete the run.
