Why it’s HorroRated
I Still Know retreads its predecessor without the same craft. Moving the action to a tropical resort during a hurricane has potential that the film never uses. Jennifer Love Hewitt commits but the script doesn't give her much to work with. For fans of the first film who want more of the same but don't mind a significant quality drop.
Synopsis
A year after the first film, Julie has been struggling to move on when she wins a tropical getaway. The resort setting is a deliberate departure from the original's coastal atmosphere and the change doesn't serve the film well. Jennifer Love Hewitt does what she can with what the screenplay gives her, which isn't enough.
