Jack Frost is a deeply silly film that earns exactly what it promises: a killer snowman with a mean streak and no interest in being taken seriously. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a low-budget horror comedy and at that level it mostly works. Turn your brain off and it delivers on its premise.
Synopsis
Sam MacDougal's transfer vehicle collides with a genetics truck and the resulting combination produces a snowman with consciousness and a grudge. Jack Frost knows exactly what it is, delivers on its absurdity with good humor, and moves fast enough that the limitations don't linger. Turn your brain off and it delivers exactly what it promises.
