Thir13en Ghosts has excellent creature design and production design that really delivers on the glass house concept. It goes too far in the third act but the ghost designs alone are worth the price of admission. Darker and stranger than its marketing suggested.

Synopsis

Arthur Kriticos moves his family into a glass mansion his ghost-hunting uncle designed around a specific occult mechanism. The creature design for the twelve ghosts is inventive and the production design is the film's strongest argument for itself. Darker and stranger than its marketing suggested.
