Why it’s HorroRated
Halloween Ends is a trilogy conclusion that decided to be about something different than what viewers expected and paid for that decision. The transference of evil concept is interesting and Michael's presence in the climax is earned. Whether the Corey Cunningham subplot justified the space it took is the debate the film will carry for a long time.
Synopsis
David Gordon Green's conclusion to his trilogy is the most formally ambitious of the three and the most debated. The transference of evil concept is either a legitimate extension of the franchise's ideas or a misdirection depending on your investment in what came before. The conversation around the film is as interesting as the film itself.
