Why it’s HorroRated
Skarsgård and Monroe are adorable as the world's least competent outlaws, and their goofy romance is the film's big, beating heart. Sedgwick and Donovan are a scream as the retro-perfect couple whose hospitality turns sinister, all clipped manners and frozen smiles. The tone wobbles between farce and real menace, sometimes in the same scene, but it's quick, inventive and genuinely funny. A great pick for a night of laughs and gasps.
