Synopsis

The 2018 Halloween erases all sequels and works as a direct continuation of Carpenter's original, with Laurie now a grandmother living in a fortified property. David Gordon Green gives the confrontation between Laurie and Michael the weight of forty years rather than the mythology of the intervening films. Jamie Lee Curtis is excellent.
