Leatherface TCM3 is a competent but unremarkable franchise entry. Viggo Mortensen in an early villain role is the highlight and Ken Foree brings his usual reliable presence. The heavy censoring blunted its edge but the extended cut gives you more of what the film was going for. For franchise fans looking for their next fix.

Synopsis

A couple on a road trip encounters the Sawyer family in a version that has grown in both number and preparation since the original.
