Why it’s HorroRated

Child's Play 2 is a cleaner, more confident film in some ways. Chucky is fully established as a character now and Brad Dourif runs with it completely. The factory finale is one of the better set pieces in the franchise. It doesn't reinvent anything but it delivers on its premise and gives Andy's story more room to breathe.

Synopsis

The Play Pals corporation reconstructs the Good Guy doll without knowing what else they're restoring along with it. Andy is placed with a new family and Chucky navigates a new set of obstacles. The factory finale is one of the stronger set pieces in the franchise and Brad Dourif's voice work has fully settled into the character.
