Why it’s HorroRated

Child's Play 3 is the weakest of the original trilogy but Brad Dourif remains the best thing about it and the carnival finale has its moments. The military school setting doesn't do as much as it should with its premise. Watchable but clearly made to meet demand rather than to serve the story.

Synopsis

The Play Pals corporation puts a new Good Guy doll into production and Chucky finds his way to a military academy where Andy is trying to put distance between himself and everything that happened. The setting is the most distinctive element here and the carnival sequence at the end has its moments. Brad Dourif carries it as always.
