The Omen remake was released on 06/06/06 which is a better idea than most of the film itself. Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles are solid leads but the film adds nothing to the 1976 original and lacks Gregory Peck's commanding presence. It's a competent remake of a film that didn't need one. Worth it only if you haven't seen the original.

Synopsis

Robert Thorn's private arrangement to spare his wife grief becomes the foundation of a life built on a secret, and the deaths and warnings that follow push him toward an explanation he resists.
