Resident Evil Apocalypse is bigger and dumber than the original and leans fully into video game logic without apologizing for it. Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine is a welcome addition and Nemesis is a solid screen villain. It moves fast enough that you don't dwell on the gaps. For franchise fans who want to see the games represented more directly.
Synopsis
Alice returns as the outbreak spreads from the Hive into the streets where a military quarantine is failing. Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine is a welcome addition and Nemesis is a solid screen villain. A step down from the original in craft but more interested in actually delivering the games' iconography to the screen.
