Black Mirror is one of the most important horror-adjacent shows of the last decade and some of its episodes are flat-out unforgettable. It understands that the best tech horror isn't about robots or AI going haywire, it's about the ways human behavior makes those things dangerous. Episodes like The Entire History of You, White Bear, and Nosedive are as sharp and as unsettling as anything the genre has produced. Not every episode lands but the ones that do really land.
Synopsis
No recurring characters, no continuing storylines — just a rotating set of premises that all ask the same uncomfortable question about what we're already becoming. Near-future and present-day worlds shaped by a specific technology are the engine here and the human cost is always the point.
