Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities

Cabinet of Curiosities is del Toro doing exactly what you'd want him to do with this format: curating a collection of horror that reflects real taste rather than algorithmic calculation. The episodes shift in tone and subgenre but the production values and the care for the material are consistent throughout. Lot 36, The Autopsy, and The Outside are the standout episodes and each one is excellent. This is what prestige horror anthology television looks like when someone who actually loves the genre is running it.
